There are lots of womens in the country who have some genetic fertility disorder and in those cases to gave birth to a child is almost impossible. But this impossible thing changes to possible when a lady having disorder like this gave birth to a baby girl. The lady have ‘Robertsonian Translocation’ named genetic disorder and she gave birth to a sweet and healthy child in Jaslok Hospital and Research Center.
Dr Firuza Parikh Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine said that in this type of cases deleviery of a child is very difficult and complicated . We face many problems when operated the lady. Dr. said there are many chromosomes in our body which are depend on each other and each chromosome reflects other. These are very important in our body. Due to the lack of these 46 chromosomes sometimes some women are suffered from disorders like this.
The embrayo receives half of the chromosomes from father and half from the mother. So when an embrayo receives access amount of chromosomes or there is any difficulty to transfer them some problems can occur. Parikh said that he is in this profession from 11 years and have whole experience of these cases so he was successful to tackle the problem of that lady with genetic disorder.
