During the September Special Event, Apple announced a few new hardware, refreshed a few and spoke about its service launching soon. The leading hardware and product launch during the Apple Event was iPhone 11.
It had been in rumors since a lot of time, and like every year, Apple launched a new iPhone. This year’s iPhone is called iPhone 11. It is available in three different variants and has further added features.
iPhone 11 is the successor to the last year’s iPhone XR. It is the baseline model in the entire line-up. Last year’s baseline iPhone – iPhone XR featured a single-lens camera, which this year’s base model iPhone 11 features a dual-lens camera.
The secondary added lens is an ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also added to the flag-ship iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, which makes them the first triple-lens camera iPhones.
The baseline iPhone 11 started at $649, while the flag-ship iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max begin at a price tag of $999 and 1,099, respectively.
Apple also spoke about the services it announced during the March Special Event. The two services talked in the current event are Apple Arcade and Apple TV Plus.
Apple Arcade is a gaming service from Apple. It allows you to get a monthly subscription for all the high-end games available on the App Store. Which means you no longer need to buy original games and can download as many games as you wish to at a flat price.
Apple will be launching Apple Arcade on September 19th for $4.99 per month. Which seems to be a fair price for the number of you games you can download now when compared to the earlier scenario.
While Apple TV Plus is a video streaming service from Apple to complete with Netflix and Prime Videos. The company received a fantastic response after the trial launch since the announcement.
Apple TV Plus will be available from November 1st for $4.99 per month. The lower price band from Apple confirms that the company is aiming at gaining a huge customer base and compete with Netflix.
We also saw a refresh and update in the iPad line-up. 2019 10.2″ 7th-generation iPad comes as a replacement for the 6th-generation 9.7″ iPad. Apart from the increase in size, Apple has added pro features to the 7th-gen iPad.
iPad now features the smart connectors, which will help you to connect and use the Apple Smart Keyboard. You can also attach and use other various accessories, which was not possible earlier.
The starting price of the 7th-gen iPad is $329, and if you are eligible as a student, you can get an additional discount of $100.
One additional hardware, which came out as a surprise. As there was a word about an added feature of Sleep Tracking, Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 5 without significant changes. However, Watch 5 is not a replica of Watch 4.
There is a new always-on display, which keeps the screen on all the time. With the help of new engines and processors, Apple was able to achieve this without hampering the 18-hour battery life of the Apple Watch.
